How Tatkal 2.0 works
Tatkal, without the 10 AM scramble.
Instead of everyone racing for the same seats at the same second, requests stay open from noon to 9:00 AM. Submit once at any point in the window; after it closes, every eligible request is processed together under rules you can inspect.

Seats are allocated fairly
Most Tatkal seats stay at the fixed fare and enter a verifiable draw after the window closes. The system then checks unused route segments to confirm more passengers.

Receive a confirmed ticket, a waitlist number, or an automatic refund. Premium is optional; winners pay one clearing price and unused money is returned.
